About Us

Anatolian Nature and Culture Conservation Cooperative is a Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2009. The goal of AnaDOKU is for the conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural values in Turkey and its environs developing, implementing and monitoring all kinds of research, analysis and implementation projects in cooperation with relevant institutions and organizations.

In this context, by using its knowledge and experiences AnaDOKU aims to work not only with public institutions and organizations but also private sector organizations operating about subjects listed below.

  •  Planning Studies for Protected Areas

  •  Sustainable Agriculture Projects

In addition, AnaDOKU prepared National Desertification Strategy with the coordination of the General Directorate of Combating Desertification and Erosion of the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs  in 2012. As a result of these studies AnaDOKU applied to be accredited as a Civil Society Organization at the UNCCD (United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification).

At the 11th "Conference of the Parties" held in Nambia in September, 2013, AnaDOKU became one of the two institutions accredited to UNCCD with 193 members votes, along with the TEMA Foundation from Turkey.
